Why do Expats Love Lamai in Koh Samui?

Flora and Note make a visit to Lamai and some of the more well-known features in that area. Sadly Covid has affected many aspects of ‘normal’ life here on Koh Samui, and Flora and Note don’t shy away from showing that to their viewers. You can almost feel their disappointment when they visit what is usually described as ‘one of Samui’s most beautiful beaches’… ‘Silver Beach’. The beach is literally jam-packed with rubbish along its full length, and it paints a very sorry picture indeed. This video was made in January 2021, and I would like to think that – at the very least – the local government has taken steps to clean ‘one of the most beautiful beaches on Koh Samui’ !

Flora and Note also visit the (in)famous ‘Hin Ta Hin Yai’ (GrandFather and GrandMother) rock (if you haven’t seen it then be prepared for a giggle or 2!), as well as Lamai Viewpoint, Samui Health Shop by Lamphu (a truly amazing Health Food shop!), and a couple of other interesting places in the area… watch the video to discover what they are! 🙂
